During Wiping & Testing the IT equipment is sorted, erased, tested, and graded by an impartial partner to obtain an objective and accurate valuation of the equipment.

Sorting

The equipment is initially sorted by brand and model and labelled with a project number.

Wiping

Subsequently, the equipment undergoes data wiping through software, ensuring that no information can be recovered. If necessary, we can also physically destroy the devices in a shredder. Wiping can be conducted at our facility, at your location by us, or remotely.

Testing

All devices are then tested to identify any damage and to de-identify them. Devices that no longer hold monetary value due to damage or age are recycled in accordance with regulations by certified recycling companies.

Grading

Finally, the devices are graded, and we receive a report on the quality of the equipment.
